Kaizer Chiefs doesn't seem like they're slowing down in their player acquisition despite the transfer market being closed. They're still preparing for their different approaches that they'll have to indulge on if they want to get the players that they require at Naturena. Unfortunately, Chiefs haven't been getting the right quality of players that can be able to turn the club into a success again. One would even state that they've been recruiting average players hoping that they'll reach their highest potential under Arthur Zwane. By the looks of things, even Zwane is struggling to find a balance squad that will compete for silverware in the DStv Premiership campaign.
This means that he will have to look at other teams that have the players that he requires and then try to poach them into moving to Amakhosi. Hence, there's reports stating that the Glamour Boys have shown interest in the Stellenbosch FC's 29-year-old attacker who will offer them something that they can work with moving forward. According to reports, Junior Mandieta could be in Chiefs colours next season if the talks materialise between the Soweto giants and Stellenbosch. It wouldn't be a train smash for both these clubs as they have a great working relationship and they're not afraid to move players between themselves.
It might be difficult for Stellies to let go of their key player Mandieta as he has shown that he's excellent in terms of attack and gives his club options whenever they're on counter attack. Already, he has scored five goals and provided seven assists in 22 matches. This get to show that he's a team player and he does provide individual brilliance when it's needed. Amakhosi could revamp their attack with Mandieta, but we can only wait for the July-August transfer window to see if the deal will fall through or not.
