Kaizer Chiefs has had quite a challenge season thus far which made the technical team figure different ways of being on top of their game. As they knew that their squad has it in them to give any side a run for their money. However, the lack of consistency in terms of positive results messed with their plans. Now, the Chiefs head coach Arthur Zwane has spoken about his youngsters in terms of how he incorporated them to the senior team. As they were struggling with their form at first, but has slowly started gaining confidence in their positions.
The core thing that Zwane felt he had to focus on with regards to his players was discipline which can go a long way when mastered. He stated that he doesn't tolerate any nonsense at Naturena as he wants to deal with players that want to play for Amakhosi. After the Glamour Boys introduced the likes of Siyabonga Ngezana, Samkelo Zwane, Mduduzi Shabalala, Happy Mashiane and Nkosingiphile Ngcobo, that showed a lot of faith in the youngsters. “It is simple, I am a disciplinarian and I don't tolerate nonsense. At the same time, I give credit and give them a boost and also make sure that they do the right things," Zwane said as quoted by Far Post.
Whenever working with future stars, Zwane had to be careful in terms of his coaching approach. As he wanted to influence them to perform to the best of their abilities and not tear them down. "So, it goes down to one thing, discipline. If you want to make it big in life. If you want to do good things in life, you want people to respect you and the game to respect you and reward you, you have to be disciplined," said Zwane speaking to FarPost
